Vice President of the Iranian Opposition in Washington (NIC) and founder of the Iran Freedom Institute, Ali Reza Rezazade, said that the Canadian House of Representatives voted unanimously to include the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organization.

327 MPs voted "for", against - 0 (Canadian CBC), this petition came from the report of the Committee on Justice of the House of Representatives, which called on the government to designate the KIR as a terrorist organization in Canada, according to the Criminal Code.

As Ali Reza Rezazade notes, the G7 countries previously discussed the issue of recognizing the Iranian KIR as a terrorist organization and are currently calling on British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak to make such a decision in relation to the Iranian terrorist organization.

The leader of the Iranian opposition indicates that the opposition parties want the IRGC to be recognized as a terrorist group after the attack on Israel.[1]
