Biography

Savchenko Andrii Edvardovych born on July 25, 1978, in Kherson. Studied at the Sevastopol National Technical University with a specialization in "Business Economics." Graduated in 2002 with a master’s degree with honors.

In 2005, he started his first business — the retail store "Sosed" (Neighbor), one of the first self-service stores in Crimea. The project thrived, and within a few years, the chain included 6 supermarkets named "Big Neighbor." The business was sold in 2014.

In 2011, he became a shareholder of the national payment terminal network "City Pay," which was later transformed into "City 24." By 2017, "City 24" had become the number one network in Ukraine, with over 17,000 terminals.

Since 2017, he developed a microcredit direction. This led to the creation of the "Faina Gotivka", which, before the Covid-19 pandemic, had over 100 branches in Ukraine. Later, an online lending platform "Kachai Groshi" was created, which entered the TOP-10 in the Ukrainian market.

In 2013, Andrii Savchenko launched Tachcard project, providing e-commerce services to merchants and featuring an online marketplace for account top-ups and purchasing services for end consumers. The company also developed mobile solutions for various types of merchants and internet banking applications for banks and financial companies.

In 2018, utilizing many years of fintech development expertise, Savchenko, along with partners, founded one of Ukraine’s largest neobanks — "Sportbank," where all transactions are carried out through a mobile application. "Sportbank" reached over half a million users in popularity. For the past 10 years, Andrii Savchenko has actively invested in Ukrainian fintech projects and supported social initiatives.

Personal Life

Andrii Savchenko has two children. In his free time, he enjoys active sports: volleyball, kitesurfing, surfing, yoga, and tennis. He is a Master of Sports in volleyball.

In 2013, as part of the Ukrainian national team, he won a gold medal at the World Master Games held in New Zealand.
