Biography

Alekszej Fedoricsev was born on August 3, 1955, in Pavshino, USSR. In the early 1970s, he played for the Zorky Krasnogorsk grass hockey team. In 1973, he was invited to the backup of the FC Dynamo Moscow, later played for FC Kryvbas. In 1987, left the USSR and relocated to Europe. Fedoricsev has been a Hungarian citizen for over 35 years, resides in Monaco.

Career

Upon leaving the USSR, Alekszej Fedoricsev was involved in the mineral fertilizer trade. In December 1994, he registered a company FEDCOM in Monaco, specializing in the export of sulfur, fertilizers and grain from the former USSR, including Ukraine.

Sponsorship of sports clubs

FEDCOM has been supporting athletic projects in the Principality of Monaco since the second half of the 1990s. The year 2025 marks the 30th anniversary of the partnership between FEDCOM and AS Monaco FC. This partnership is among the top-10 of the most lasting sponsorship deals of sports and private business. Similar to the legendary collaborations of PSV Eindhoven and Philips (since 1913) and Inter Milan and Pirelli (26 years, 1995-2021). In January 2022, Alekszej Fedoricsev became President of AS Monaco Basket. Albert II, Prince of Monaco, often attends the domestic games. Monaco’s government owns a share of AS Monaco Basket.

SKWEEK startup

Alekszej Fedoricsev launched SKWEEK startup that allows watching all the European League matches. Apart from broadcasts, SKWEEK offers sports content to engage new basketball fans.

Business in Ukraine

Investment in Ukraine

The businessman and his partners invested over 1 billion euros in the infrastructural projects in Ukraine, namely the modernization of Pivdennyi Port in Odesa Oblast. TIS Grain and TIS Fertilizers are some of the major taxpayers in Ukraine. Also, in April 2020, Alekszej Fedoricsev allocated 25 million hryvnias to fight the coronavirus outbreak in Odesa Oblast, including the purchase of PCR-testing equipment and protective gear for medical professionals.

Criminal case in Ukraine

National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) opened a criminal case against Fedoricsev, charging him with the attempted bribery of the state official. The businessman himself claims the case is entirely fabricated, and believes it’s part of an effort to illegally seize his assets in Ukraine.
